Brenna is a PhD candidate in Information Studies at the University of Maryland’s Human-Computer Interaction Lab (HCIL). Her research investigates Participatory Design practices when working with children and the ways in which mobile technologies can promote learning opportunities. At the University of Maryland, Brenna is the Research Coordinator for Kidsteam: a co-design team that works with children to design technologies that support children’s learning and play. Brenna has a M.S. in Human-Computer Interaction from the University of Maryland and a B.A. in Telecommunication- Digital Media, Art, and Technology from Michigan State University.
